Flash Back; Choosing a restaurant...
Its true!!! We ate at McDonalds! And not just ONE night, but THREE nights! I feel so ashamed. Thing is, when its your first time over there, its easy to feel overwhelmed at the distance between you and home. So any taste of home is like...comfort food? On the other hand, when I look at the ACTUAL restaurants in todays comic (thanks to a Rome, Italy site), I think "I wish Id eaten at their authentic Italian restaurants."
We ate at a deli one night, this potato pizza, then a fast food Italian Pizzaria, where they serve you this HUGE half thin crust pizza, and apparently your supposed to FOLD it to eat it, which I didnt do, which got me wierd looks. Heh. Not so bad as the time I tried to eat crab legs in an Chinese restaurant!!
