![]() I am really like that. I like to hug my friends just fine, but sometimes I joke and say "Molestation!" (Which is what? Unwanted physical contact!) I dont like hugging people I just met or dont know well and I dont like being touched in general [esp. the feet! I think we've all learned that!], other than hugging. You know, yesterday, Lena stated "Hes not doing anything illegal" but then Brendan posted in tag board "Maybe he is" so I thought, "Maybe..." so I decided to look it up it up. I thought to myself, "Couldnt he be preforming a citizens arrest?" So I googled it, and as usual, as my quest for knowledge usual brings me to Wikipedia, so this time was no exception. A citizens arrest is an arrest performed by a person acting as a civilian, as opposed to a sworn law enforcement officer. The practice dates back to medieval England and the English common law, when sheriffs encouraged ordinary citizens to help apprehend law breakers. In Canada; under Section 494 of the Criminal Code of Canada covers citizen's arrest for Canada. One can arrest a person found in the act of committing an indictable offense. One can also arrest a person being "freshly pursued" (for example, by the police) if one has grounds to believe that person has committed a criminal offense (whether that crime is an indictable offense or a summary conviction offense). Paragraph two of the section permits a property owner, or a person authorized by the owner (i.e. a security guard), to make a citizen's arrest of a person found committing a criminal offense (whether indictable or summary conviction) on or to that property. Thus, you could arrest someone you find vandalizing your house. If you make a citizen's arrest you must deliver the arrested person to a police officer as soon as possible. So as long as Colin follows the terms of the law [assuming hes not stupid, and knows SOMETHING about Canadian Law, then hes probably not breaking the law][Colin is also not the violent type to inflict serious or fatal injuries on criminals] Despite the title, the arresting person does not usually have to be a citizen of the country where he/she is acting, as they are usually designated as any person with arrest powers. In the USA, when performing a citizen's arrest it is advisable not to give a Miranda Warning or caution as this could be construed as impersonating a police officer; instead the arrestor should try to remember and tell the police officers anything the detained person has said. I love it when people challenge me...[in a good way]
My day was shapin up to be really borin so what did I do? Like most nights I dont go out I made it a movie night. I thought I would pop in a Gerard Butler movie [to see if I still felt it for him] and I watched Dear Frankie. WELL. Let me tell you. I CRIED SO MUCH. I havent cried from watching that movie since....the first time I saw it. And Dear Frankie is a movie that made me cry like no other movie has ever made me cry. I didnt even cry that hard at the Phantom, I think. Its just so emotional and gut wrenching. I LOVE this movie. The only movie that makes me cry every time is; Dont laugh. Titanic. Its just all the people dying, and you know it really happened so it makes it especially tragic. Especially scenes of moms and their baby/kids dead or waiting to drown. (OH NOES, MINA IS SHOWING COMPASSION FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN AGAIN, QUICK, LETS TAKE HER TEMPERATURE!!!)(Only if your O-Chenko!)
OH MY, what big ugly, biceps....ya right. O_O If you leave a comment, Ill reply, guaranteed!
I shall remain your obedient servant, Mina
