Editor's Note: Ok so I actually am able to get this up at the proper time - not too shabby for my second night on the job! Anyways I was struck tonight by something that happen and I wanted to share it with you all - since Mina's not here to say no - y'all have to suffer ;)

Tonight was the kick off of the Greatest Show on Earth (aka Stampede). Yes I live in cow town (aka Calgary, AB). Through work I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Chuckwagons (yes Mina I know their evil) and the Grandstand show. As I was sitting in my nice little seat, and watching the fireworks show, I felt a little bit nostalgic. You see, 4 or 5 years ago Mina came to visit me during Stampede and the two of us went one night. We stayed there until the bitter end. But at one point it was surreal - my best friend and I were sitting on a grassy nole watching the fireworks, after a long day of walking and screaming our brains out (rides) and eating everything under the sun and I felt like everything at the exact moment was just perfect. For a split second tonight I remembered that feeling and I realized just how very much I miss her. (insert tear here)

Mina, honey, I love you very much. Please come see me again...

Ok so now something a little more light hearted - there was this guy that did a comedy act at the Granstand Show - his name was Johnny Bagpipes. Yup you read right. So enjoy a little youtub-age from me to you:
