I hate this political correctness crap! I never know what its ok to say anymore. To a certain extent I can understand it, YES, but sometimes it does go overboard. You know what the problem is? No one likes to be labelled, no matter how much they 'pretty-up' the label and no matter how neutral and inoffensive they try and make it.
Stats say that 15% of British Columbians are smokers. And some 5000 of them are expected to die this year. Thats more deaths than those who die from AIDs, drug addiction, and murder, in this province combined. They say that smokers cause a great strain on the health care system, and now the Province is going after the big tobacco companies to sue them, to pay the bills incured in the health care system by smoking. Do you think its very far off in the future that McDonalds will be paying for lyposuction and stomach staplings?
