Yea I was like that crossing the river. That part sucked. It was FREEZING cold (glacier water) and there was a strong current in some parts. It was only about as deep as the top of your thighs, depending how tall you are. I wouldnt cross it alone, without someones hand to hold. There was another part of the river that was twice as long but far less deep and less current as well, but that was around the river bend. We only crossed that part once. This series is really memorable for me since its based on our trip. :)

But like the title says, it was worth it, for the fun, and the view.

My mom decided to learn an Italian song too. Of course she would have to pick a really difficult song. "Its time to say good bye" (Its all in Italian except the words "Time to say goodbye" which are repeated several times in the song). I havent even been able to sing it well, other than the chorus, which is the easy part. Its the beginning and middle parts that are hard---because they are sung so rapidly. Trying to keep up in a language you dont understand and are only learning to sing by repition of the sounds...is very hard. For example, its taken me several weeks to be able to sing along with Amore e Musica, and I still cant do it without the lyrics. That could take several more. Ive told mom that Ill help her with what pronounciations I can...many of which I do know. If we have a talent show again (There is talk of), Id like to preform "Finiculi Finicula". Probably the most fun song there is.

This guys hot but mostly in movies. I dont find him very photogenic. Always looks stoned.
