A secret secret. Wait. WHAT?
Well, she's back in love with Colin. *sigh* Unrequited love. The poor dear.
AND STILL WEARING HER COSTUME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
My mom bought a book today----"German for Dummies". She was born in Germany, came over to Canada when she was 5 and learned English in school. Her mother spoke German to her but mom always answered back in English. Mom said she'd like to re-learn German. Ive always said that its still in her memory somewhere, she just cant find the files. Or she needs something to help unlock the archives, like the book. Its cute to hear mom reading stuff in German---then my dad attempts it (badly) and I shout "SPREKEN ZIE ENGLISH!" (Im sure thats not spelled correctly---)
She said there was also a "Italian for Dummies" and she wouldnt mind getting that. Looks like my love of all things Italian rubbed off on her. Of course, if she does get it, she can expect me to STEAL it. She also mentioned that there is a "Guitar for dummies" book which I MUST get my hands on.
Everytime my mom says the word "Italian" She pronounces it "EYE-talian" instead of "IT-alian" which drives me nuts so I yell "ITS IT-ALIAN and its prounounced SunDAY not SunDEE, and its pronounced LIBE-RARE-EE, not LI-BERRY!!, and its pronounced MONTHS not MUNSE and its pronounced TWENTY not TWENNY!!! HOW CAN I GO ON LIVING IN A HOUSE LIKE THIS!!" I told my mom to play the immigrant card when it comes to english pronounciation and grammatical errors. My mother, believe it or not, is a MORE WORSER speller than I AM!!!!!!!!!! (months-munse and twenty-twenny are COMMON pronounciation errors even with those whos mother tongue is english!)
Dont forget to VOTE!!
I shall remain your obedient servant,
