Question. What is worse. 14 hours of 80s music or 14 hours of Christmas music? Answer: 14 hours of 80s music.
I HATE 80s music, (despite growing up in the 80s) and it seems thats all they play at grocery stores. This time of year its the Christmas tunes, which also drive me right mad, but I dunno...theres just something about 80s music that I hate even more. Maybe its Anne Murray and Kenny Rogers (of course they were the country artists of the 80s which is now considered adult contemporary [thier music that is, not country]).
But its more than just Kenny and Anne. They play all those aweful, bizarre sounding 80s songs with singers who sounded high pitched or just plain high. It was a horrible time for auto design AND the music idustry. A few good songs DID come out of the 80s, Im not going to knock it all.
