Did you know cats and dogs are slaughtered for their fur in a country *which cough shall be nameless cough* ? It was on Larry King Live today. (I was already aware of this) This infuriates me naturally. But then, the killing of ANY animals for the sake of vanity infuriates me to an extreme degree.* My mom bought me, several years ago, a key chain of a cat made out of fur. (she didnt know it was real fur) White fur. I thought it was cute but tossed it into a drawer. They said on LKL tonight that these items and figurines of cats and dogs made of fur are sometimes actually made from cat and dog fur. Feeling enraged and horrified at the thought, tonight I buried it in the yard (yes, shut your face) and gave the animal that died for it the dignity it was denied in life and death.

*I was once friends with a flake who said to me about this "Tee hee, but animals have to die anyway! Tee hee!" *punch* Wearing fur not a big deal? Consider that most animals are treated cruelly and some are even skinned alive.
